About the FSSA

 Our Mission

•  To advance, promote and protect the highest standards in the practice of Surgery in the best interests of patients
   
• To provide a unique source of unbiased specialist advice on surgical matters to the Health Departments of the UK, Republic of Ireland and beyond
   
• To be a source of specialist advice to all four Surgical Royal Colleges equally
   
•  To provide a forum to debate issues pertinent to the Surgical Specialty Associations
